Yes, this is correct pw. Irons are not allowed on any ships. Some cruise lines do provide irons in the laundry room. I know Carnival does. If you bring an iron they will confiscate it. You really don't need it. Between the laundry rooms and the laundry and/or pressing service provided, you really don't need to bring anything.
