Hi Becca,

Our itenerary says docked with a 5 pm departure, and from what I can remember that was always our schedule.

I have been doing some browsing in the shore excursions as I was curious as to what was offered, and everytime a sunset cruise excursion was offered. I thought that was weird because we departed at 5:00, so I figured it must have been an option for other iteneraries. It looks like that would have been an option on your old departure, but not the new schedule.

I personally have been looking for excursions that offer Mexican Folkloric Dancing, particularly in PV, because it is in the state of Jalisco. My daughter and I take Mexican Folklorico at our dance studio here in Arizona, and many of our dances come from the Jalisco region,so we were looking forward to trying to see professional dancers in Jalisco.

In Acapolco, they will most likely have the Folkloric Dancers and the Mariachis play. The usually do dances and music from many different regions of Mexico. That is also should be a great show. It was wonderful three years ago when we went on the Merc. They did dances from Chiapas, Vera Cruz, Mexico City, Jalisco and other regions. We also do some of these dances at our studio.

We havn't decided on all our excursions, but it looks like we will do the Marigalante Pirate cruise again. We did this three years ago, with-out the kids, but we know that they will really enjoy it as well. I did a complete review on my cruise blog

I hope this helps.
