We took advantage of a ship's tour called Soufriere by land and Sea. It was a long one - nearly all day - but well worth the time and money spent.

saw the VOLCANO with its white streams of HOT Sulphur steaming out ...

ate lunch at a former plantation where there were CARIBBEAN CABIN EXHIBITS,

enjoyed beautiful views of the PITONS from LAND and dramatic views of the PITONS from SEA aboard a catamaran ...

and ended our day with a swim at MARIGOT BAY, where we enjoyed watching the amazing balancing act perfromed by a waterborne BANANA VENDOR as he went about his everyday routine in a place we saw as paradise, but he called home.
