How long can you hold your breath?  That's all it amounts to, then blow the snorkel tube out when you resurface. That's important to remember...when you RESURFACE, I wasn't thinking once and got a mouth full of water because the tube wasn't quite out of the water yet! Of course you can't do it in a vest, even with the air out of the vest they are too bouyant to dive in. Have you seen pictures of people snubaing? It's a really cool idea, you'd lose your freedom being attached to the air hose but I don't think I'd care that much about that. |
