Paradise

The Paradise is a new concept in cruise ships because it is completely smoke-free. They have several accessible staterooms, the numbers are; R298, M298, E52, E56, E53, E57, E64-73, E80, E81, E116, E119, E120, and E123. The cabin door width is 30" with no sill which will give you 27” of hallway clearance. The bathroom door width is 31", also with no sill. There is a roll-in shower with grab bars and hand held shower head. The toilet is 17.5" high with grab bars. The sink is 35" high. Shower stool is available from steward.

All areas of the ship are accessible with the exception of the Sun Deck and the Funnel Deck. Public accessible restrooms are located on the Promenade Deck, aft, next to the Queen Mary Lounge.

Carnival has alert kits for guests with hearing impairments which can be fitted to any cabin. These kits include visual notification of the door knocker and smoke alarm and there is a vibrating alarm and phone amplifier. Please notify in advance if this equipment is needed. Service dogs are permitted with the required documentation but may not be allowed to disembark at all ports.


Holiday

The Holiday is the least accessible ship in the Carnival Fleet and has 15 accessible staterooms, eleven outside numbers M91, M95, M97, M99, M96, M98, U75, U81, U84, U85 and U88. The numbers of the four inside stateroomns are M86, M89, M90 and M93. The staterooms are 185 square feet (not including the bathroom) and the doors are 29.5" wide with no sill with a hallway width of 27.5”. The bathroom doors are 22.5" wide with 8" sills which are ramped. There are 4" sills at the showers that can also be ramped. The showers do have hand held showers, stool available from steward and grab bars. The toilets are 17" high with grab bars and the sinks are 31" high. There is only 15” clearance between the toilet and the front wall.

The following public areas are not accessible: the Sun Deck; the Expressos Cafe; the Gazebo; balconies in show lounge and pools and public restrooms.

The Elation has 20 accessible staterooms, ten inside and ten outside, all on the Empress Deck. The numbers for the outside are; E64, E65, E66, E67, E68, E69, E70, E71, E72 and E73. The numbers for the inside staterooms are; E52, E53, E56, E57, E80, E81, E116, E119, E120 and E123. The average size of the staterooms are 185 square feet - not including the bathroom. The doors are 30" wide with no sill and a clear opening of 27”. The bathroom doors are 31" wide with no sill. The bathrooms have roll-in showers, hand held showers, seats available upon request and grab bars. The toilets are 16" high with grab bars and the sinks are 32" high.

The following public areas are not accessible: the Funnel Deck; the Observation area; the children's pool and Laundromats. There are no public accessible restrooms.
