Slot Pull Rules
1. The entrance fee is $10 per person or whatever amount you decide. ($9 goes into the machine and $1 is put in a prize pot award for the person who gets the largest amount on a single pull. This gives everyone two possible ways to win money.)
2. You meet at a bar close by the casino before the slot pull to collect the fees and go over the rules, before you head inside the casino.
3. You can use a dollar machine or a progressive quarter machine (which is picked out by you ahead of time).
4. You play the maximum bet on the machine.
5. Number of pulls will be determined by the entrance fee.
6. All slot money will be put into the machine before the first pull.
7. Once the first pull is taken, no one else can join in and the game is closed. The slot pull will end after the last person entered has taken their turn on the slot machine.
8. Participation will be in the order of slot pull sign up. If you are "not" there when its your turn, you will be moved to the bottom of the list. You must play to win, if you are a no show, you will forfeit all winnings.
9. You need a designated person to check names off the list and they will record the amount of all of the pulls.
10. If you hit a large Jackpot, you will collect the payout and put all BUT the winnings back in another machine. The remaining folks will then start on the new machine. (You do this to improve your chances because once a machine hits big, the chances of it doing it again are very slim.)
11. You have to be with the group at the finish to collect your share of the winnings. (You don't want to spend your time trying to track down people to give them their money.)
12. The winnings will be distributed equally, except that they will be rounded down to the nearest dollar. The person who organizes the slot pull gets the left over change.
13. You will need to go to the casino cashier to break down the money, so you have the right bills to pay everyone out.
14. You meet at the same bar you started out with after the pull is finished to distrubute the winnings and award the money for the single largest pull.
15. The Highest Single Spin will receive $1.00 for every person who entered. BUT if there is a tie, the pot will be divided equally between the tie winners.
16. Remember, this is a fun event to maybe gain a few dollars and enjoy the company of others in your group. Encourage everyone to cheer on the slot pullers and mingle with others in the group.
17. Make contact with the Casino Manager the day before your slot pull and let them know what time and which machine you will be using. Hopefully he/she will have some prize drawings during your event. If they do, make sure everyone knows the Casino Manager's name for their comment cards at the end of the cruise

Thanks, Janice,
I was just about to give up on here and go to another board to see what I could find out. As soon as I get my printer hooked up I will print this out and go over it more carefully and make sure I understand completely. If I have any other questions, I will get back with you.
