Don't get me wrong, I don't want to lose money on any trip, but some of my cruise costs, if I'm traveling with a roommate or friend, wouldn't impact me the way an emergency medical situation could.
To that end, does anyone have recommendations for good medical evacuation and medical coverage insurance companies? I've been to insuremytrip.com, but as stated above by Pete, they don't rate the companies.
Can I ask which company the lady who was reimbursed the $100,000 used? Obviously, I'm not going to use the company in the travel protection article!

The insurance company she used was Travel Safe and it's one I recommend. We used them for many years and they always handled claims very quickly and fairly - treating our clients very well. We're currently using Access America and have no complaints thus far, but I hated loosing Travel Safe. But these are two companies that rank high on my list. As I mentioned, we've had a few companies, including some big names, that we had to fire because they did not provide good customer service and we had problems with them.
