As we get older or our life situations change, our reasons for travel insurance change.

Previously, I used to be more concerned with cancellation insurance vs. the medical reasons for insurance. Now I find myself in new territory and I'm more concerned with medical coverage and evacuation than the cancellation coverage. Don't get me wrong, I don't want to lose money on any trip, but some of my cruise costs, if I'm traveling with a roommate or friend, wouldn't impact me the way an emergency medical situation could.

To that end, does anyone have recommendations for good medical evacuation and medical coverage insurance companies? I've been to insuremytrip.com, but as stated above by Pete, they don't rate the companies.

Can I ask which company the lady who was reimbursed the $100,000 used? Obviously, I'm not going to use the company in the travel protection article!
