Harry, that was common back in Minnesota where most hoses were two story with a 1/2 basement (half of it was underground, 1/2 above ground level. Anyway most of the houses had a sliding glass door that opened up 4 or 5 feet in the air. Some people ended up building decks, others built stairs going down. |
