Wonderful beach and delightful day! My friend and I enjoyed it immensely but glad we did not take the kiddos for the "boob parade". For some reason, it never occurred to me that the topless women would walk the beach w/o their tops. 
We rented 2 chairs and a much-needed umbrella for the day ($24 USD) and had fabulous food while sitting in these chairs under our umbrella. Each meal was about $20 USD. Water was refreshing, clear, and blue, blue, blue. Sand was white and fine and the day was spectacular!
Van ride each way from the easy-to-spot area off the cruise ship pier was $6 per person each way for the 20 minute ride to the beach and 40 minute ride back to the ship. Traffic was horrendous, as were the road conditions and the living conditions of many islanders.
We loved our day on Orient Beach and would return in a heartbeat... |
