I'm just surprised to see it go down so much when we're still over 11 months out from the sail date. Plus now it means we're sitting about $780/person for an Ocean View cabin (including taxes and port fees). I didn't think prices started going that low until closer to 6 months from the sailing date.
I understand the current economy has meant discounted prices for 2009 dates, but didn't think it would start affecting 2010 dates until later when people can see if the economy has started to pick up or continue to decline.
Anyway, I was curious if NCL is running sale right now and if that was the reason for our discount. Regardless of what it was that brought about the discount, our group is hoping for another nice discount like this before our final deposit. I'm holding out hope that our fare will drop down to $500 per person.  |
