Per my Royal Caribbean sales rep, RCCL will adjust prices up until the sail date. Unfortunately, if you booked with an online agency and made payment way in advance, they are unlikely to want to do more work for you in getting the prices adjusted now.
One of the members of a business networking group booked a cruise for his parent's 50th wedding anniversary and paid in full months ago (cruise isn't until August). Knowing that Alaska prices have dropped drastically since the time he booked (he didn't know me at the time and went into the local auto membership club to book his cruise), I suggested that he call the agent to have the prices adjusted down. He is embarrassed to do so know and is probably paying a lot more than he needs to.
One of the services that I provide to my clients is watching the prices and getting them reduced when they are eligible for the reduction. Unfortunately, not all agencies will do that. My suggestion is to find a good travel agent that you feel comfortable with and book your vacations through them. They are likely to offer much more assistance at teh same price as the mega online sites that just want your money.
