That link is to what is known as a co-branded site. Quite a few suppliers have that capability now. The links from your site take the user to the supplier site for booking. The linking site gets the credit for the sale.
Personally, I don't recommend anyone to book online. Go ahead and research if you want, but at least talk to a competent Travel Agent before you book. The online engines don't always take into account all of the special fares that are available on many sailings. Some are, but some aren't. Examples of the special fares that MAY be available include:
- Senior fares
- Military fares
- Fares restricted to residents of particular states
- Firefighter and Police fares
- Union member fares
- One-day specials
- Blocked Group rates
- others
A good agent will look at all possible fare codes that you qualify for, and will ask questions to see which ones you do qualify for, to ensure you get the best value for your money. An online booking engine won't or can't do that for you.
