Smile "Antigua Beach Escape with Lunch" REPORT

ANTIGUA BEACH ESCAPE W/LUNCH

Ships Excursion -- 5 Hours

Our excursion was from 10 AM - 3 PM so it made for a rather full day.

We were picked up at the end of the cruise ship pier by air-conditioned tour busses for a short ride (10 - 15 minutes) to RUNAWAY BEACH.

The tour guides there told us where things were located and what to expect. They were extremely attentive and checked back several times during the day to make sure all were comfy.

Beach chairs were provided at n/c and we rented an umbrella for $6.

This area of Runaway Beach was basically for those on cruise ship sponsered excursions -- not crowded. The sand was white and the water blue. We spent lots of time in the water.

Lunch: Freshly Grilled Chicken, Beans & Rice, Macaroni Salad, small Baked Potatoes, Corn-on-the-Cob, Cole Slaw, Salad, and some other things I can't remember .... What we had was good ... and we didn't get sick from eating it.

They gave us two tickets each for punch or rum punch. They'd add additional rum if asked. BEER was $4 for local and $5 for Corona.

We had a GREAT Day!

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask.
