The buses are really mostly vans. I don't know if they are the best, but they are the cheapest.

At the bus depot they will ask you where you want to go and tell you which "bus" to get on. Tell the driver where to let you off, just in case you don't recognize your destination.

The few other people on board will also be friendly and helpful.

The standard tour is Hell, the Turtle Farm, and a Rum Cake "factory". I imagine you could ask to be let off at seven mile beach after and then catch a taxi or bus back when you are done. The tours are readily available at the dock. The probably cost about $25 a person.

I don't have any experience with these people, but maybe you can arrange a private tour with them, if desired:
