Canarymoon has said it perfectly!

Booking your next cruise while on your current cruise is always recommended - you get a reduced deposit and onboard credit - can't beat that!

Since the Oasis of the Seas has not even hit the water yet, you're not going to see any specials for quite some time. Bookings are selling quickly, so it'll be a while before you see discounts. Best thing is to book as soon as possible as you're likely to see the prices go up. So don't hesitate to book while on your cruise in January. Remember, you can get a 100% refund if cancelled prior to final payment date. As for the least expensive time to book, that would be September; it's the least expensive time because everyone is going back to school and it's in the middle of hurricane season.

But as she mentioned, you can book a Future Cruise Credit and not have it associated with any particular sailing - this way you get to take avantage of the reduced deposit and the onboard credit.
