at gobeach.comSubject: cayman bracHi Gert, I have property on the Brac and am trying my best to get info. Cel phones are working there and i have talked to several people. The west end looks like a "war zone". Most damage caused by wind not surf. My property in on the N-E and the storm seemed to pass closest the the S-W, but no one can get out that way yet due to down trees and power lines. Mark K. on the N-W side said 1/2 his house is gone, but his little dumpy shed is fine, go figure. All my best to our friends there. Hope to be there soon..Mark McMurtry

at gobeach.comSubject: Little Cayman infoI have been in contact with several people on Little Cayman (both on the North and South sides). There are no reports of any injuries. Initial reports indicate that most of the damage is localised and in general moderate given the strength of Paloma. There are however reports of a few properties suffering significant damage.   There are power poles down throughout the island and the roads are difficult to navigate and in some places completely blocked. Storm surge does not seem to have been a major issue.  Pia Hall
