She sounds a lot like Michael. I was the one wanting to go a bit early on our first cruise but now, I practically have to sedate him to avoid his wanting to go to the ship directly from his morning shower. He likes to get lots of pictures before there are too many "tourists" on the ship. I'm not quite sure who he thinks we are if we're not tourists.
I think we're pretty much in Garry's camp on this one. We were on a cruise once on one of the last days and met a person who claimed they hadn't seen the whole ship yet because there was "too much to do" and i thought Mike was going to tell them they're doing it wrong.
