Garry, thanks for posting the attachments. I have seen some mention of it, but that sets it out very clearly. I am very pleased to see that informal is to be dropped (notwithstanding that I liked wearing a jacket and tie in the Speciality Restaurant as I felt it was more in keeping for that venue).
Without entering into a dress code debate, I read the pdf file a couple of times and it now seems as though the requirement for "throughout the ship" of an evening has now been dropped. Am I reading it right? It looks as though that whilst smart casual and above will be enforced in the dining room and theatre , it will be not be the case elsewhere so you can wear whatever you like in other venues. I have to say that on my recent cruise jeans, t-shirts and baseball caps were de rigour for some on formal night in the Martini Bar and that was a shame in my view and this policy doesn't seem to address it. Not that it was enforced anyway, but that's another subject altogether (!).
