We were on the Conquest last summer and our cabin (on the Upper Deck) was right at the front of the ship. I LOVED IT. The 'mini deck' right out our window was like our own personal deck. I would stand out there every night before bed (sometimes in my jammies) and just enjoy the quiet and the breeze.
Unfortunately, the Ecstacy doesn't have cabins up front. Anyone?

I haven't sailed on the Ecstacy yet but it looks like a good location to me and very close to the elevators too. The stores usually close down at 10 or 10:30, so the noise from that shouldn't be a problem. But it is close to the Blue Sapphire Lounge where all the shows take place, but most shows are over by 11:30 or midnight.
If you have any other questions, please feel free to send me a private message and I'd be glad to help. To do that, just click on my screen name and then click on "send a Private Message". To look at your PM's, go the the top of the board and it's on the right hand side.
