this could be long but you gotta read it..

I was on Explorer and many cruisers I did not know in person yet was on Navagator. now both ships were in port and sailing out within one hour of each other...
Joey, was on Explorer with me.. We have never met yet either.. And all his friends were on Nav.. He was trying to get on Nav, (booked solid) So we started chating on post.. I was praying for him to get to go with his friends.. on Nav... and he was going to make the best of it, if he did not get on Nav.. As it turned out, He was able to get a cabin about 2 weeks before sail date.. Leaving me on Explorer...... (which was what I had booked and wanted to do.. and I did not know any of them anyway other than posting with them) And let me tell ya, I posted on their thread lots and they posted on mine... We became very close friends... Well the day of sailing finally came and we planned to be on Helio pad and wave at each other... There was about 25 of them yelling at me .... Telling me who was who... and I was yelling back saying I was me... Everyone on Explorer could not believe what was going on... I had people ask me if I got on the wrong ship by mistake.. LOL..
When we all returned from our sailings .. Them to West. and Me to East Carib. we posted again together on both threads.. .. I booked on board for Panama Canal sailing... to get the OBC's.. and while posting on there thread, they all decided they would come to Miami and give us a sailaway party..for this sailing I had booked..
Now remember I never met any of those cruisers, and never cruised with them... And they were coming to Miami to give us a sailaway party.. And let me tell ya... THEY did..
TY, and Mama Pat flew from Motor City, Joe & Lady Sha drove to port, Gary & DEB drove to port also, ( as they lived in Florida ) Joey was able to get them all of them on ship before sailing.. So we had two days and one night having so much fun in Miami together... Laughting and really meeting each other face to face... We spent over 2 years posting and never met face to face until that sailaway party they gave us...
What great people... spending there time and money to come to Miami and meet up face to face with me and my boyfriend... And NOT even on the sailing..

Well about 5 years has passed and we had sence done many sailaway party's and even meet up's like Vegas Baby 3, Yes this is our third time meeting up in vegas.. We all did the Freedom sailing together ...
What great fun.... Life with my cruise family is great... yes over the years we have all became cruise family... We all go on differant cruises, but we also try and book a special cruise together also..
Like the Mariner sailing we have booked in May 2009, and the Genesis, THE OASIS of the seas when booking becomes open, we'll be all going together on that one...
We post together, call each other, cry over losses of family memember, cheer each other on over happy times.. Meet up on the road or seas together.... We are family... Our cruise family..
So yes... we do keep in touch...
