I'll be on Infinity on 6th June and will be back home on the 18th. I'll try to remember to post when I get back as to how close we got to the glacier. This year doesn't seem such a good year with the ice, but I am forever hopeful we can get close!
As far as your FIL's dietary requirements go, I'd have a word with your Assistant Maitre d' on the first night and ask him about the menus and what can be arranged. I have been on a couple of cruises where someone at the table had to be careful what they ate and the restaurant was very accommodating.
