Everything that everyone said is very true and I could not add much more than to say there are no casinos on Disney ships. That's alot of revenue they don't get that other cruise lines do, so they have to make that up somehow - and higher prices account for some of it. Because the cabins are bigger, there are also a few less cabins. Then, as everyone has said, they are a step above the others, especially for the kids. The Disney kids' program is hard to beat. And their private island is wonderful.

It truly is that you get what you pay for when it comes to Disney.

But with that said, while Disney is top notch and something you should do at least once, there are other very nice ships out there with some amazing amenities with better deals.
